Job Description:
Working in a no-nonsense environment you provide technical leadership and engagement to support business goals. You monitor and benchmark process results and initiate changes to reduce variance and ensure desired outcome. Utilizing your expertise you apply the most effective process technology to optimize flow, improve cost efficiency and ensure customer specifications are met. As a self-starter you identify, prioritize and execute modifications and improvements. You also enjoy being responsible for projects: your main responsibility is to prepare, execute and control the project activities for the assigned unit. You team up with clients to prepare concepts, resources and budgets. Overseeing the assigned projects you direct, train and audit assigned professionals and you ensure projects are executed according to clients expectations and engineering standards. Moreover, you promote teamwork and sharing of best practices. With your sharp analysis and innovative thinking you initiate and lead discussions on process technology and projects. Enhancing the interest of the organization you build value added partnerships with key clients. Your success is tied to client focus, prompt service and completion which is achieved within budget and agreed timescale.
Requirements:
- At least BSc degree, e.g. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Approximately 5-10 years experience in process engineering for industrial companies, preferably in Chemicals or Food
- Project Engineering experience within a process-driven environment
- Change agent with demonstrated success in driving improvement initiatives
- Self-starter with high energy level and excellent interpersonal skills
- Team player; promoting knowledge sharing, best practice development and teamwork
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
