Job Description
In this position you contribute to profitable growth of the business. Your main responsibility is to dimension, calculate, prepare, lead and control EPC project activities independently.Your qualities include teaming up with clients, analyzing client needs and creating tailored solutions. You execute according to agreed objectives. As project manager you have insight in all aspects of the assigned projects and you are responsible for the technical content as well as the end results. You lead project teams consisting of designers and engineers and communicate frequently to inspire your team, set priorities and provide direction. You promote teamwork and sharing of best practices. Moreover, with your solid EPC contract management you monitor progress, quality and expenditures and you ensure projects are executed according to clients’ expectations. You are well aware that attention to detail is crucial for managing risks and maximizing return on investment. You like to be on top of new developments, you identify market opportunities and you present your ideas with flair to your clients. Your project can be part of integrated projects. With your expertise you are able to develop integrated solutions, independently or in cooperation with project developers and contractors. Your success is tied to client focus, entrepreneurial flair and prompt service.
Requirements
- University degree in engineering, e.g. mechanical or electrical engineering
- Minimum of five years project engineering experience, obtained in an EPC environment, with a proven track record of outstanding results
- EPC project management experience in the oil & gas and/or petrochemical industry is a strong plus
- A client and solution focused personality; technical creativity and decisiveness
- People manager with vision and spine; ensuring agreed objectives are met
- Proven ability to direct and coach teams in multiple projects;inspiring and leading employees to deliver the best possible results
- Excellent sense of integrity and passion for excellence
- EU national with fluency in English
- Willingness to travel for short assignments
