Job Description

You are one of those highly motivated people with the ability to drive change and improvements within a team environment. Working in a no-nonsense organization you provide technical leadership and engagement to support business goals. You analyze and benchmark plant processes and equipment and initiate changes to reduce variance and ensure desired outcome. Utilizing your expertise and interpersonal skills you develop break trough front end engineering concepts and tackle bottlenecks in quality, reliability, energy efficiency and waste. Moreover you enjoy being responsible for execution of these projects, coordinating or managing third party involvement and delivering on time and within budget. As a self-starter you like to apply the most effective process engineering, process automation and change management techniques to optimize flow, improve cost efficiency and ensure customer specifications are met. With your sharp analysis and innovative thinking you initiate and lead discussions on process technology and equipment, perform modeling studies and supervise plant trials. You work closely with Manufacturing, Maintenance and QESH to troubleshoot plant issues and implement corrective actions. Your empathic and energetic approach helps you to create teamwork, knowledge sharing and positive change. Discovering new perspectives, managing risks, transferring knowledge and obtaining world class results are the things that make you tick.

Requirements

• MSc degree in Chemical Engineering, Physics or Mechanical Engineering
• Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of process engineering, knowledge of process simulation and control
• Change agent with excellent track record in project management and optimization. Experience with Lean Six Sigma is an asset
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build credibility quickly and team up with all levels in the organization
• “Can do” mentality, ability to think out-of-the-box and willing to challenge organization and leaders
• Strategic thinker with strong business judgment; overseeing and managing multiple priorities and explaining complex issues in a way that everyone can understand what is expected
• Convincing personality, able to influence and motivate others and ensure positive outcome
• Strong communication and presentation skills in Dutch and English
