Job description:
Working in a team environment your responsibilities are manifold: You provide engagement, guidance and technical expertise to daily operations. Ensuring safety, reliability and cost effectiveness of operations is crucial and you team up with Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics and HSE to ensure standards are met. You are an inspiring coach for your manufacturing team (approximately 30 employees) working in five shifts. You train and develop the workforce and promote knowledge sharing and teamwork. Keen on pioneering, you introduce customer-driven process improvements, de-bottlenecking initiatives and cost savings. You enjoy the challenges of working in a fast-paced, multi-product environment and utilize your engineering and leadership skills to bring operational performance to a higher level. Being a change agent you champion initiatives to maximize production, reduce cost, improve quality and enhance customer value position. With your sharp analysis and interpersonal skills you drive asset utilization, lead plant flexibility and capability improvements and increase the overall service performance. Working closely with technological and operational teams you drive projects for new or modified products and equipment in response to changing business needs. You set priorities, lead implementation according to agreed objectives and promote a culture which values quality, innovation and results.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in relevant field, e.g. Chemical Engineering.
  • 5-10 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Minimum of three years experience in a managerial role desired.
  • People manager with focus on safety, total quality and changing market needs.
  • Team player with initiative, creativity and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, implement change and achieve desired outcome.
  • Independent, communicative personality with hands-on approach.
