(Senior) Process Technologist
Drive and implement process innovation

With a long list of consumer brands as well as tailored business-to-business activities the company is an important link in the innovation chain. Our client is looking for a talented, result-driven (senior) process technologist for its manufacturing site located in Gelderland.

Job description: Working in a no-nonsense environment you provide technical leadership and engagement to support business goals. You monitor and benchmark process results and initiate changes to reduce variance and ensure desired outcome. Utilizing your expertise you apply the most effective process technology and manufacturing techniques to optimize flow, improve cost efficiency and ensure customer specifications are met. You enjoy coaching and supporting other process technologist in the cluster and promoting a value added approach. As a self-starter you identify, prioritize and execute modifications and improvement projects. You link up with corporate R&D and coordinate all processes from concept development to implementation in production. With your sharp analysis and innovative thinking you lead discussions on process technology, perform modeling studies and supervise plant trials. Moreover you manage third party involvement and ensure delivery is on time and within budget. You work closely with Manufacturing and Maintenance to troubleshoot plant issues, implement corrective actions and provide direction for long term success in terms of quality, reliability and performance.

Requirements:

• MSc degree in Process Technology or Chemical Engineering
• Approximately 4-5 years project-based experience in process technology.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Bio-Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals or Food industry.
• Project management skills; demonstrated success in driving innovation and improvement initiatives (e.g. Six Sigma).
• Self-starter with high energy level and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Team player; promoting knowledge sharing, best practice development and teamwork.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
