Job description: Reporting to the General Sales Manager, you generate profitable business in the Netherlands. You team up with your Manager to set up a sales plan, you identify sales opportunities at existing and new clients and you open new markets. You assess customer needs including cross-selling opportunities and present customized solutions. Your success in building up long-term relationships with clients is based on your market knowledge and your sharp analysis of customer needs. You manage accounts, provide tailored advice and take responsibility for meeting agreements. With your pro-active approach and prompt follow-up you exceed your clients' expectations. You contribute to building and sharing product- and market knowledge and you act as the “champion” to fellow Account Managers with regard to a range of products in the portfolio. You enhance cooperation between internal and external parties and ensure the organisation maintains its top position. Moreover, you keep the sales information systems, the list of projects, and the contracts with clients and suppliers up-to-date.    
Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc degree (for example control engineering or process technology)
  • 3-6 years experience in a technical commercial role, with a track record of high achievement
  • Knowledge of industrial automation is preferred
  • Enthusiastic and entrepreneurial personality, focussing on opportunities and solutions
  • Self-starter with a result-oriented approach who excels working independently and in teams
  • Relationship builder with talent to acquire accounts and strengthen them
  • Negotiation skills, creativity and flair
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Willing and able to travel frequently
