Job description: You drive and execute activities within the department Sales Support and Support Services to guarantee the quality, continuity and progress of all technical activities in the field of instrumentation. In this varied role you maintain close contact with suppliers, account managers and clients during the quotation process. You are a sparring partner in technical meetings and commercial negotiations with clients. Utilizing your expertise in instrumentation you calculate and select the appropriate instrumentation to fulfill client needs and you prepare and submit complete quotations. Moreover you interface with suppliers and other disciplines during project delivery and keep all parties up-to-date. You drive customer inspections of final products, i.e. total project deliveries. As specialist in instrumentation you also participate in trade fairs, congresses and seminars. You ensure technical, commercial and general product and service information to clients is adequate and includes cutting-edge technologies. You enjoy providing technical support to the local offices in the region. With your sharp analysis and creative solutions you exceed client expectations and create long term partnerships.

Requirments:

  • MSc or BSc degree in relevant field, e.g. Control Engineer or Process Technology
  • Approximately 7 to 10 years experience in instrumentation and process control in a technical project-based working environment
  • Excellent knowledge of instrument and control issues as well as related international  regulations
  • Analytical and conceptual thinker; assessing client's processes and translating them into technical requirements
  • Result-driven approach with commitment to deliver within strict deadlines
  • Ability to oversee multiple and/or complex projects; setting priorities, keeping all parties involved, up-to-date and on plan
  • Creative in finding solutions, ability to influence clients and suppliers to create win-win situations
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, both spoken and written
  • Ability to be effective in a stress prone environment. Some travel required within the region.
