The company is looking for a result-focused (Senior) Process Engineer to drive and implement strategic improvements in The Netherlands and abroad..

Job description: Working in a no-nonsense environment you provide technical leadership and engagement to support business goals. You monitor and benchmark process results and initiate changes to reduce variance and ensure desired outcome. Utilizing your expertise you apply the most effective process technology and process automation techniques to optimize flow, improve cost efficiency and ensure customer specifications are met. You are part of the site leadership team, which is responsible for ensuring quality, safety and integrity of the manufacturing processes. As a self-starter you identify, prioritize and execute modifications and improvements. You enjoy being responsible for all processes: from concept development to commissioning and you manage third party involvement and delivery on time and within budget. With your sharp analysis and innovative thinking you initiate and lead discussions on process technology, perform modeling studies and supervise plant trials. You work closely with Manufacturing and Maintenance to troubleshoot plant issues and implement corrective actions

Requirements:

• MSc / BSc degree in Process Engineering
• Approximately 8 years experience in process engineering for industrial companies, preferably in Chemicals or Food
• Up-to-date knowledge of process engineering and familiar with process automation
• Change agent with demonstrated success in driving improvement initiatives
• Self-starter with high energy level and excellent interpersonal skills
• Team player; promoting knowledge sharing, best practice development and teamwork
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
• Desire to work in an international Process Team and ability to bridge cultural differences
