This company, founded in 1978 and based in the Randstad area, maintains eight offices all over the world. During the last four years their manpower has grown 800%. They are looking to recruit two professionals who are able to combine an operational approach with an ability to prioritize strategic issues in an innovative way.
Job description: Working in the process team his brief is to design and engineer oil and gas processing systems. Reporting to the Section Head Process Engineering he prepares heat & mass balance, PFD's and develops P&ID's, in close cooperation with engineering subcontractors. His responsibilities also include operations support. The lead process engineer leads project teams of discipline engineers or site teams of engineering contractors, depending on the size of the project. He interfaces with other disciplines.
Requirements:
· MSc or BSc in Electrical and Control Engineering (Instrument) or Chemical Engineering (Process);
· 8-12 years of post-qualification experience in the petrochemical industry; experience in the oil and gas industry is a must (process) or a plus (instrument). Instrument engineers with 2 years of experience are also invited to respond;
· affinity to international interdisciplinary projects in a marine environment;
· fluency in English;
· excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills; · willingness to travel (process).
