Job description: Reporting to the general manager the production manager coordinates the total production process with 100 employees, working from shifts in a 24-hours-cycle. He fulfills an inspiring role within the management-team and gives an interpretation to the operational excellence. He realizes and implements the strategic and operational planning of which he improves the existing processes and introduces new techniques. The production manager takes care of the implementation of self-steering teams and coaches his employees within the change-process.

Requirements:
· relevant technical degree (BSc or MSc), e.g. mechanical engineering
· a minimum of five years of leading experience in production, preferable in the packaging-industry
· a broad technical orientation and knowledge of management-techniques
· a resolute personality with vision and entrepreneurship · excellent communicational skills
· fluency in English and Dutch
