Client: Our client, based in The Netherlands, has a non-stop production site with five shifts. This successful subsidiary of two European multinationals is the market leader in her field. The organization of 400 employees is improving continuously to remain at the forefront in its line of business.

Job description: Reporting to the Financial Manager, the controller is responsible for initiating, coordinating and monitoring the planning & control cycle. He/she analyzes the financial performance, compares the figures with the objectives and advises the management. The controller leads a team of seven employees and replaces the Financial Manager at his absence. He/she ensures the administrative organization meets group requirements and looks after the management reports. As a change agent, he/she manages local projects and participates in international projects. The controller recommends improvements and realizes acceptance for his/her ideas within the organization.

Requirements:
· BSc or MSc in economics with post-graduate accounting qualification
· Five years of financial experience, preferably in a Big Five audit company
· No-nonsense personality, taskmaster who realizes ambitions
· Pro-active approach and initiative to propose improvements
· Excellent communication skills in Dutch, English and German
