Client: Our US-based client has obtained an excellent reputation as a global manufacturer of superior technical products, systems and solutions. The company has set outstanding records of profitable growth to date and is well positioned for further expansion on a global basis. With this goal the regional headquarters, based in the south of The Netherlands, is busy re-engineering its European team.

Job description: Reporting directly to the General Manager EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) and with a dotted line to the CFO in the US, the Finance Manager supports the regional growth and financial performance objectives, insuring timely delivery of adequate, accurate and value-added financial information. Setting up and implementing the annual Financial Operating and Strategic plan for EMEA, he participates in the development of the global annual strategic plan. His varied brief also includes financial support at acquisitions, including due diligence, negotiations and integration. Structuring his EMEA financial organization he supervises a team of financial professionals based in eleven international sites.

Requirements:
· University business degree; chartered accountant preferred
· 10+ years of financial management and leadership experience, preferably with a multinational, finance-driven company
· Dynamic personality, with strong vision and spine, tough decision maker and taskmaster
· Excellent leadership skills, able to lead your team to agreed objectives
· Ability to improve efficiency while lowering cost
· Hands-on personal style with drive, analysis and good empathy
· Fluent written and spoken English; other European languages are a plus
· Willingness to travel
