Client: Our US-based client has obtained an excellent reputation as a global manufacturer of superior technical proprietary products, systems and solutions. The company has set outstanding records of profitable growth to date and is well positioned for further expansion on a global basis. With this goal the regional headquarters, based in the south of The Netherlands, is busy reengineering its European team.

Job description: Reporting directly to the Global Information Systems Manager in the USA the Information Systems Manager leads the Information Systems team in Europe. His brief includes undertaking high profile reviews of Group hardware and systems and evaluating their continued relevance to business needs. While he provides IS leadership and development to all operations in Europe, he is the IS visionary and change agent. You advise company management on systems implementation like ERP and they highly appreciate his business acumen and added value. His team of seven IS professionals is based in The Netherlands, Germany and France.

Requirements:
· A technical or IS university degree
· 5-10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in leading IS projects, preferably within a multinational company
· Experience with managing diverse cultures and multiple sites is a plus
· Knowledge of ERP systems
· Dynamic personality, with strong vision and spine
· Excellent leadership skills, able to increase team spirit
· Ability to manage multiple projects in a broad set of disciplines
· Fluent written and spoken English; other European languages are a plus
· Willingness to travel
