Job description: You support the regional growth and production performance objectives by defining, proposing and implementing a strategy for the company's logistics operations, ensuring customer satisfaction by delivery on time with the appropriate documentation. You improve European distribution efficiency in close co-operation with purchasing and production planning at the headquarters. You organize, manage and report all logistical operations (distribution activities, warehousing operations, stock control activities). You lead and motivate logistics team, train and develop professional skills of the team members. You ensure that GE's quality procedures and standards for logistics are adhered to at all times. You monitor and report logistics direct and indirect costs. You work with the purchasing and production planning departments in the headquarters. You work with manufacturing and external suppliers.

Requirements:
· MSc., BSc. or equivalent in Logistics or Business Engineering
· Five to ten years experience with logistics processes in an industrial environment
· Ability to work effectively in an international organization · Strong personality with analytical skills, strategic vision and empathy
· Team player with leadership skills; able to lead a team located in different areas
· Change agent, capable of implementing changes
· Negotiating skills, able to sell ideas, fighting spirit
· English mandatory, French and Dutch a strong plus
