European HR Manager

Headquartered in Gelderland, our client's Aeroderivative Packaged Services and S&S Energy Products employ 275 manufacturing, service and sales employees located primarily in The Netherlands, Norway and the UK. The organization has been created through the acquisition of a number of strong local European companies.

Job description: Reporting to the European Operations Leader and to the global HR Director in the US, your main contribution includes reviewing and recommending changes to the existing organization to improve the fit between companies. You serve as a business partner, facilitator, team builder, problem solver and creative proactive agent for recently acquired businesses. Your varied brief also involves: coaching and supporting managers on succession planning, staffing, performance management, change acceleration, labor agreements, works council and communication. Identification of effective company training methods and programs to meet short and long term requirements of the staff is important. You drive consistency with the company's business objectives and HR strategies through implementation of various company policies.

Requirements:
· BA or MA in Human Resources or related discipline
· Minimum of 5 years of operational experience in the field of international HR, preferably gained within an industrial environment
· Experience in change management and processes
· Dynamic personality with strong vision, execution driven, team player
· Professional, capable of anticipating problems and creative in developing solutions
· Ability to make an impact in a fast-moving change-oriented culture
· Analytical and flexible approach, ability to manage multiple priorities and cope with stress
· Good communication and consulting skills
· Great openness and directness but also empathy
· Fluent Dutch and English; other European languages (e.g. Norwegian) are a plus
