Job description: Reporting to the European Distribution Services Manager you will drive the logistics strategy and lead productivity and service improvement projects. Your varied brief includes designing and implementing a new tailor-made logistic model and measurement tools to evaluate performance. You develop contracts and agreements with suppliers to guarantee best value for money. You set and meet ambitious targets and team up with finance to improve transparency of cost versus service. With relentless energy you take charge in sharing best practice between plants. You facilitate effectiveness throughout the supply chain, analyze performance and ensure commitments are met. Your sharp analysis and implementation skills impress the plants, customers and third parties.

Requirements:
· Degree or post graduate degree in Logistics or related discipline
· Three to five years post-qualification experience in distribution operations, preferably also in sourcing
· Demonstrated leadership skills, business acumen and growth potential
· High intellect combined with a practical approach, proven facilitator and change agent
· Ability to drive performance and maximize value for money
· Self-starter with can-do attitude and outstanding interpersonal skills
· Out-of-the-box thinker with strong analytical and IT skills
· Fluency in English, knowledge of other European languages are a plus
