Client: Our client is part of an international industrial group focussed on aluminum and packaging. It has 30.000 employees in Europe, America, Australia and the Far East. The subsidiary based near Rotterdam is the largest stand-alone plant in the world. Its main objective is to produce excellent products of good quality against a favorable price, to specific customer specifications.

Job description: The principal responsibility is to support The company's operation performance objectives. Position scope includes all plant control and planning responsibilities, relating to the growth initiatives.
· Member of the Management Team; development of annual operating and strategic plans
· Provide plant leadership for the plant in The Netherlands, which includes: managing some 300 employees in production (200), maintenance (70), engineering (10), building of ovens (1) and small projects
· Recruitment and development of above mentioned organization
· Management of the budget for manpower, costs and investments
· Interaction with Logistics, Commercial, Quality, EHS, HR and Finance
· Establishment and maintenance of quality initiatives and ensuring highest level of integrity

Requirements:
· Technical degree, preferably university level
· 5+ years production management experience
· Ability to provide strategic direction and related support to the company operation
· Thorough exposure to a technical discipline like engineering, maintenance, building & construction
· Driven & ambitious personality, able to think out-of-the-box
· People manager with focus on quality
· Strong communication, planning and financial skills
· Strong overall business judgement
· Ability to manage multiple projects in a broad set of disciplines
