For the EMEA region, the regional headquarters in the Netherlands seeks to recruit a talented Regional Communications Manager.
Job description: Reporting to the Regional General Manager and to the Director Communications and Brand Management in the US, you are responsible for corporate communications, marketing communications, brand management and web content management in the region. Your varied brief includes developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy, formulating key priority areas and implementing pan-European programs. You integrate corporate and marketing communication efforts to leverage resources, prepare and monitor the annual communications budget and manage activities and relationships with key vendors. You develop targeted communication tools, including key messages, media training and crisis communication plans and you coordinate efforts with communications representatives in the region to ensure site specific strategies are in place. Working closely with business managers, you establish effective branding to support the business. You participate in the global Communications and Brand Management leadership team to develop appropriate international strategies. With your passion for excellence you impress stakeholders and enhance the company´s image.
Requirements:
· BA or MA in Communications or Marketing
· at least 8 years experience in a high profile international communications role
· experience in a multicultural setting and managerial experience
· hands-on personality with overview, able to drive results and influence positive outcome
· demonstrate interpersonal effectiveness and cultural awareness
· first class communication skills, both verbal and in writing
· excellent English required; knowledge of additional European languages is useful
