Client: Our client, a non-stop production organization based in the Randstad, is a subsidiary of a successful international industrial group, listed on the NYSE. Our client is the largest producer of the world in her field with a production capacity of 400.000 ton per year. An investment of € 68 million will enlarge their capacity with 25% in 2004. This ambitious and profitable organization constantly improves the organization of 400 motivated employees, for instance in the field of production, maintenance, logistics and security. Main objective is to produce excellent products of good quality, against a favorable price, according to customer specifications.

Job description: You are one of those highly motivated people with the ability to drive change and improvements within a team environment. Playing a key leadership role in the implementation of continuous improvement methods you drive breakthrough improvements in the manufacturing process. You are a sharp selector of your project team members. You will be challenged to define plant requirements, assess the ability to meet them, align resources and projects and deliver results. Providing technical expertise to improvement teams you are the ideal mentor and trainer of Green Belts. Discovering new perspectives, managing risks, transferring knowledge and obtaining financial results are the things that make you tick. You will report hierarchically to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Continuous Improvement Champion.

Requirements:
- Black Belt certification and trackrecord of successfully finished improvement projects within production
- 6+ years experience in a production environment, 2+ years in a managerial role
- Strong project management qualities, able to motivate others
- Energetic personality, thinking in results
- Ability to cope with stress
- Teamplayer with effective communication- and presentation skills
- Change agent with excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- High energy level, passion for quality, self-starter, solution-oriented
- Technical Masters or Bachelors degree
- Fluency in Dutch and English
