Job description: Reporting directly to the Business Unit Director and functionally to the Vice President HR, you contribute to an optimal business climate in the Business Unit by defining, implementing and auditing HR strategy and instruments at all locations globally. Being an active member of the BU Management Team and of the HR Leadership Team, you align the organization to support key priorities in (re)design, structure, staffing and effectiveness. Furthermore, you contribute to the global HR strategy and make sure that the BU is compliant with the HR policies and instruments. You lead and guide the global BU HR Operations and provide guidance and advice on HR matters such as organizational design and development, succession planning and employee relations, while ensuring consistency in policies and practices. This way you ensure that professional and motivated employees are available and the strategic ambitions can be achieved. With your passion for excellence you team up with local management to drive the annual HR processes such as appraisals and compensation planning. Mergers & Acquisitions are expected as well as post merger integration processes which need to be driven professionally in order to ensure mid/long term success for the acquired companies. You are the focal point for the maintenance of external relations with official organizations like the Works Council and the unions. Utilizing your organizational savvy and interpersonal skills you create an atmosphere that drives teamwork, performance and positive change. Requirements:
- BA or MA degree in HR management or relevant field
- Minimum 10 years HR management experience in a multinational industrial business; acquisition and integration experience are a plus
- Successful track record of improved business performance through people; teamplayer
- Solid experience with planning and execution of strategic change; change agent
- Ability to translate strategic directives into action plans
- Strong leadership coaching, assessment and facilitation skills; experience with managing a remote team is an extra

Ability to interact and influence at all levels within a matrix organization and leverage local needs with corporate objectives
- Solid business acumen, innovative in problem solving and opportunity development
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
- High degree of integrity and trust
- Based in Switzerland, willingness to travel
- Fluency in English, other European languages are a plus
