Client: Our client is an entrepreneur in the consumer market with a successful strategic market concept. As a member of a well-known retail group our client has obtained an excellent position within several product segments. The organization analyzes consumer demands and tunes its product range accordingly. Next to restyling its stores it has a new target, it wants to shift focus from offline to online shopping. To help our client meet this ambitious goal we are searching for an E-Commerce Manager.

Job description: In this position your most important responsibility is to contribute to the growth of the turnover of online shopping. Your excellent product and market knowledge enable you to respond to market opportunities in a pro-active way. You can translate these opportunities into efficient and effective strategies for the online channel. With flair you recommend necessary changes to the management team concerning adaptations to the e-commerce platform. Your affinity with relevant systems impress your colleagues and give them the confidence that you are able to recommend the right tools for a successful long term result. Then you implement the new e-commerce strategy: You plan and lead the projects necessary for the process of change, you set priorities and delegate tasks to your team, while you monitor the progress. You are our client's focal point in the field of e-commerce and maintain excellent contacts with all parties concerned, such as marketing, sales and purchasing.

Requirements:

•  Relevant degree, minimum BA level
•  5-10 years experience with state-of-the-art e-commerce management; successful track record
•  Experience with a process of commercial change, including the development and introduction of new concepts
•  Project manager with excellent leadership skills, used to set firm priorities
•  Individual with empathy and strong communication skills
•  Selfstarter with vision and helicopterview
•  Strong coach with the ambition and the potential to lead an important department with young professionals if results are achieved
•  Good sense of analysis
•  Entrepreneur who takes initiative, strong decisionmaker
•  Affinity with ICT
